5 New Music Videos To Kick Start Your Week!

Mon, June, 29 by

Jack Ü feat. Justin Bieber – Where Are Ü Now
What do you get when you put two of the biggest EDM artists out there right now with pop’s reigning heartthrob? One of the summer’s catchiest songs! Where Are Ü Now is Jack Ü’s (Skrillex and Diplo) latest offering featuring an unlikely but successful new collaborator, Justin Bieber. This follows another recent Canadian collab for Jack Ü, the big dance anthem Take Ü There featuring Kiesza. The music video for this new track stars Bieber who does his signature pouts and poses and even breaks out a few dance moves, but is completely covered in animated artwork that flashes on the screen throughout the clip.

Shawn Mendes – Believe
Just last week, we shared Shawn Mendes’ latest single Believe (from the upcoming Disney Original Movie, Descendants) and now we have a fun and uplifting new music video to go with the song! The music video features people filling out the phrase “I believe…” with their own unique answers like “I believe in making new friends”, “I believe there is good in all of us” and “I believe in balance” — all while other people go out and do various acts of kindness. It’s pretty much impossible not to feel good after watching a video like this.

Son Lux – You Don’t Know Me
Indie artist Son Lux released a new music video today for the sinister sounding track You Don’t Know Me off of his newest album, Bones. Fans of Orphan Black will immediately recognize the video’s star, Tatiana Maslany. According to a statement by director Nathan Johnson, the role was written with Maslany in mind. “She’s such a phenomenal actor and she brings something so compelling to the role,” he says, of the video which follows a woman who lives a double life. “This powerful figure who is stuck in the vacancy of routines that have lost their meaning.” It’s no clone drama, but Maslany does rock this role with the same tenacity as she would with Sarah Manning or Allison Hendrix.

Pia Mia feat. Chris Brown and Tyga – Do It Again
Earlier this year, we introduced you to Pia Mia, a rising singer who calls the Jenners and Kardashians her friends. With these powerful friendships, it’s pretty easy to see how her latest single Do It Again features two of hip hop’s biggest names right now, Chris Brown and Tyga (the latter being the rumoured boyfriend of Kylie Jenner). Do It Again is a bubbly, flirty song about a one night stand, but the music video is less romance and more beach-side hangouts.

Mark Ronson feat. Keyone Starr – I Can’t Lose
Following the massive success of Uptown Funk, Mark Ronson returns with another infectious single, I Can’t Lose featuring singer Keyone Starr. The music video for this funky synth number is a throwback to old-school gangster films with gambling, drinking and a dance-off that would make MJ proud.
