5 Pieces Of Solid Advice From Buffer Festival Day 1

Sat, October, 24 by

Buffer Festival has taken over Toronto’s theatres, and Much was on site today in case you missed out.

The festival, which highlights YouTube creators content from around the world, premieres new videos from creators of all genres. Accompanied by a Q&A period, it’s more of a film festival than a convention.

Here are five pieces of advice on how to start and grow your channel from some of YouTube’s most established and successful creators.

“If you’re looking for a topic for a YouTube video, find out what most people are talking about.”

-Sabrina Cruz of Nerdy and Quirky

“You’ll reach a point as a creator where you can’t do the same thing every day.”

-Estee Lalonde of Essiebutton on changing and growing her own channel

“It’s so important to try. You’re like a Pokemon, you’re evolving.”

-Meaghan Camarana of Starwburry17

“Have a genuine passion about what you’re talking about.”

-Charlie McDonnell of Charlieissocoollike

“All of us up here have a voice…and it’s important to take advantage of that and send the right message”

-Adande Thorne of sWooZie
