All The Reasons You Should Be Playing Stephen Colbert’s Video Game Instead of Working

Look at you: working at your desk, drinking some sort of hot beverage and day-dreaming about what you’re gonna eat for dinner tonight. Life is short, pal, and THAT’s what you’re going to spend your day doing? C’mon, you can do better than that! In fact, why don’t you give yourself a quick little break and play Stephen Colbert’s new office-friendly video game. That’s right, in this choose-your-own-adventure-style game you play Stephen as he gets trapped in a man-sized cabinet. Interestingly enough, the game is also appropriately called “Escape from the Man-Sized Cabinet,” so you won’t have to worry about much cause for confusion.

If you’re seriously still skeptical, though, we’ve got a couple of reasons why this fun little game beats working any day.

It offers a lot of choices, unlike your office cafeteria menu. That thing blows.

In the game, you get to pretend you’re Stephen Colbert which is pretty cool. At work you have to be yourself and NOT Stephen Colbert, which is not that cool.
you are stephen

It includes classic Stephen Colbert humour, which will provide you with a good, hearty chuckle. At work, all you have is Tom, who’s been telling the same knock-knock joke for three months. Tom will provide you no chuckles.

Work requires thinking and using your brain and no one likes that. But this game is so simple you barely have to think at all. Nice!no thinking

By battling ferocious monsters in the game, you will become at least one hundred times more badass than everyone around you. But by filling out reports for work like you’re supposed to, you will probably become zero times more badass. Those are some pretty lame stats so choose wisely.

You’ll get a first-hand look at the life of Stephen Colbert and you wouldn’t get the chance to see that working at your job. Unless your job is “Stephen Colbert stalker”, but that’d be a pretty weird occupation so probably not.

Alright, now that you’re all caught up you should be ready to waste your time at work (though we will totally deny that we encouraged you if your boss finds out). So kick back, relax and click here to play Escape of The Man-sized Cabinet
