Andy Kim And Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew Release New 360-Degree Virtual Reality Video

Fri, May, 6 by

Broken Social Scene’s Kevin Drew and Canadian Music legend Andy Kim are taking the music video experience to the next level with their new 360-degree Occulus Rift video for “Who Came First.”

The virtual reality video takes viewers on an immersive tour above Toronto. Filmed at last years Field Trip festival on the Fort York grounds, the video zooms through a rainbow in the sky above the city.

Long-time collaborators Kim and Drew released their joint effort It’s Decided back in January of last year. “Who Came First” was a rewritten song from the Broken Social Scene archives.

Kim, the singer/songwriter most famous for co-writing the No. 1 hit “Sugar, Sugar” for The Archies back in 1969, was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame last night at the Canadian Music & Broadcast Industry Awards Gala last night.
