Much headquarters, located at our iconic 299 Queen West location in the heart of downtown Toronto, opens its doors to some of today’s hottest artists to play an intimate set in our office. You’re invited to get up close and personal in this video series with the best seat (or ergonomic computer chair) in the house. Interns for the Music & Entertainment Marketing team contribute to Consumer & Trade Marketing efforts across Much, MTV, M3 and E!, providing support on various projects and promotions. In this role, you will have the chance to interact with multiple internal departments (creative, digital, programming, design, communications, etc).

Responsibilities Include

  • Contest execution: aid with rules and regulation forms, winner fulfillment, and prize inventory
  • Assist with trade initiatives including Treat of The Week campaign
  • Calendar management for national tours, shows and events.
  • General administration duties including helping with mail out distributions and liaising with shipping & receiving department
  • Keeping up-to-date with various pop-culture, music and entertainment online sources
  • Participating in creative brainstorms
  • Assisting with brands social media initiatives when required
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Able to work independently and take initiative while being an effective team player in a cross-functional role.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly.

The intern will assist in the development and execution of in house productions and events. This is the perfect internship if you are looking to learn about all the drama, chaos and tears that go into making the finest television. We are specifically looking for people that want to work behind the scenes in production. All applicants need to be part of a post secondary internship program

Responsibilities Include

  • The opportunity to assist in the production of our in house production for Much, M3, E!, Comedy and MTV.
  • Blogging on
  • Transcribing, coding and dubbing footage
  • Assist on shoots, both onsite and offsite
  • Support producers with fact-finding, researching, sourcing props, etc.


  • An interest for a career in Broadcast Production and a passion for Music and Pop Culture.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

The digital team is a fun, fast paced and critical unit to the Much brand. We are responsible for all website production, design, and features. In addition, the digital team produces and writes numerous content pieces and artless to support the Much brand.

The Digital Intern will have the ability to assist on content creation for both web, mobile and video features. The intern will have the ability to pitch ideas, write stories, take photos, attend events and much more depending on his/her qualifications, determination and hard work.All applicants need to be part of a post secondary internship program

Responsibilities Include

  • Contribution to the editorial voice of our online properties which manifests into our blog, promotions, social networks and news articles
  • Updating and maintaining online show pages and destinations, including episode recaps, video clips, photo galleries, cast bios and gossip/news
  • Launching social media and digital contests
  • Contribute to the programming of, including writing headlines, articles & pitching original content ideas
  • Preparing images and features for the promotion of our key priorities
  • Assist in the build and development of Much sites and designs
  • Other duties as assigned by Sr. Producer

The Brand Partnerships team works on behalf of Bravo, Comedy, E!, MTV, Much and M3, with advertisers to develop sales partnerships, promotions, contests, giveaways and integrated creative media projects. The intern will work with our team across all Specialty Channel sites (including broadcast, digital and mobile) to provide support on all projects. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with multiple internal departments (including creative, production, digital, programming, design, communications, marketing, etc), showing the full gamut of media advertising. All applicants need to be part of a post secondary internship program

Responsibilities Include

  • Support the Brand Partnerships team to identify, develop and execute strategic brand relationships with key partners
  • Work with the team to brainstorm unique integrated marketing opportunities for key clients
  • Protect the integrity of our brands while cross-promoting the Specialty Channels through partner initiatives
  • Work across the programming, production, sales and marketing functions to support the Brand Partnerships team in executing integrated programs
  • Additional responsibilities include participating in creative brainstorms, writing/developing promotional documents such as creative briefs, one-sheets and workback schedules, etc.

Social Media interns are positioned within the Consumer Marketing department, which deals with implementing the strategy behind our programs, promotions and contests on Much, MTV, M3, and E! networks.

The intern will be at the frontline of our presence on social media, working with our Social Media Manager to engage with our amazing community and execute campaigns across multiple platforms. They will also have the opportunity to interact with almost every other internal department at Much, getting to experience the full spectrum of television production and promotion, all within the context of social media.All applicants need to be part of a post secondary internship program

Responsibilities Include

  • Help to plan and execute creative social campaigns to promote our shows and events
  • Collect stats for monthly reports and other internal requests
  • Track the response audience feedback on social platforms
  • Assist with posting daily content across all social platforms
  • Monitor and moderate all social profiles for spam and/or offensive comments
  • Support link building initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Intern
  • Assist with live-tweeting shows and events


  • High proficiency and interest in social media on both a personal and professional level
  • Experience with Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, YouTube and other social platforms
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt to multiple brand voices
