DNCE Drop Super Cute Lyric Video For Nicki Minaj Collab ‘Kissing Strangers’

Super group DNCE love doing two things — writing super catchy earworms and having fun with everything they do. The four piece, made up of Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle and JinJoo Lee, burst on to the music scene in 2015 with their earworm “Cake By The Ocean” and have been keeping fans dancing ever since.

The group’s latest track “Kissing Strangers” has them teaming up with rapper Nicki Minaj, combining the two powerhouse forces in one can’t-miss single. DNCE have now dropped the lyric video for their new single and scored one of our favourite social media personalities. Put your paws up for…Doug the Pug.

No stranger to celebrities, Doug’s Instagram includes pics with Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, Demi Lovato, and the cast of The Big Bang Theory. This isn’t Doug’s first music video either, having previously starred in Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible.”

In addition to Doug, DNCE enlisted the help of more very cute four-legged friends to play the ‘roles’ of band members, with Nicki’s performance portrayed by a very fierce fuchsia poodle. Pink(paw)print, anyone?

The video shows the group of dogs running around a park and falling in love, essentially giving credence to the saying ‘it’s a dogs life.’ It’s great to be a dog and be in a DNCE video and if you can do both, even better.

The new single is not part of DNCE’s self-titled 2016 debut album, which could hint that the band is heading back to the studio to record their sophomore follow-up.

As for Minaj, the Grammy-nominated artist has been busy collaborating with a number of artists, including Joe Jonas’ brother Nick on the single “Bom Bidi Bom” from the 50 Shades Darker soundtrack.

Minaj recently reunited with her Young Money crew, including Lil Wayne and Drake, to release a video for her single “No Frauds” and also appeared in Major Lazer’s video for “Run Up” alongside Toronto artist PartyNextDoor.
