Abbi And Ilana Discuss Friendship Break In New Broad City Clip

We may be months away from the new season of Broad City, but that doesn’t mean we have to living a Kween-free life. Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer are currently shooting the fourth season of their groundbreaking comedy Broad City and have been keeping fans updated on the progress.

Last week, the women and their crew participated in a Facebook Live chat where they confirmed that Season 4 is currently being shot, the new season will include a lot of night shoots, and they have a three-way tie for favourite cameo that includes Amy Poehler, Amy Sedaris and Hillary Rodham Clinton. Glazer also confirmed that she married her longtime boyfriend, proving that while her alter ego isn’t ready to get serious with Lincoln, Ilana can commit IRL.

The new season of Broad City isn’t hitting the small screen until August and while it feels like the show has been on a Game of Thrones-length break, it’s understandable. Jacobson has released a book called Carry This Book and shot three films, including lending her voice to the upcoming The Lego Ninjago Movie.

In addition to saying ‘I do,’ Glazer has also been adding to her resume since Season 3 wrapped, including shooting Time Traveling Bong and the upcoming all-star comedy Rough Night (watch the trailer here) with her BC co-stars and writers Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello. She also voiced a character in The Emoji Movie.

Even with all of their non-BC projects, as well as writing and shooting Season 4, Jacobson and Glazer still made time to drop a little somethin’ somethin’ for fans this weekend. And it was terrifying.

Earlier this year, the women prepared for President Trump’s inauguration. In a new clip that’s almost as scary, we see what a world with a friendship break between Abbi and Ilana would look like.
