Here’s How You Can Celebrate Halloween Without Going Out

Melody

Fri, October, 31 by

Let’s face it: it’s getting cold around this time of the year. Going out is a bit of a pain and even though you might feel obliged to go out in a costume that is totally inappropriate for the chilly weather, we are here to tell you that you don’t have to!

There are plenty of ways one can celebrate Halloween without bundling up and facing the cold/possibly rainy or snowy weather, running into loud obnoxious crowds of people and the inevitable discomfort your costume will give you. If none of that sounds fun to you, then here is a list of things you can do that will definitely be fun and can be done in the comfort of your own home!

So keep those PJs on and get your spook on with these following activities!

Netflix marathon
The whole point of Halloween is celebrating all things spooky and what better (and cheaper) way of doing that than to put on some scary movies or dive in to a Buffy The Vampire Slayer marathon?

Watch cute animals play with pumpkins
You will die from the overwhelming cuteness.

Take our Pretty Little Liars Halloween quiz
Bonus: you can re-watch old episodes to refresh your memory pre or post-quiz!

Learn the Thriller dance
It’s a full night’s work and it will be worth it, if 13 Going On 30 has taught us anything.

Watch more scary music videos
Much has you covered: tune in tonight starting at 6E/3P for the ultimate Halloween-themed playlist featuring everything from the Backstreet Boys to Childish Gambino and just dance the night away in the comfort of your own home (and possibly PJs)!

Start thinking about the next holiday
Those Christmas lists aren’t going to write themselves! Stay ahead of the game this year and start shopping now. It’s never too early to start Christmas shopping. (If you’re American, start looking up Thanksgiving recipes!)

Go to bed early
Tomorrow’s going to be a big day: HALLOWEEN CANDY GOES ON SALE. So while everyone is partying it up, you can just get a good night’s sleep and prepare to beat everyone to the punch. A pile of cheap candy > hangover.
