James Bay Proved At Last Night’s Brit Awards That He’s An Artist To Watch

British singer James Bay took over the 2016 Brit Awards last night. The fedora-wearing artist stole the show making several cameos and performing, not once, but twice. James first took to the stage with Justin Bieber demonstrating his mad guitar skills on an acoustic version Justin’s hit Love Yourself.

The singer then performed the hit single Hold Back the River off his debut album Chaos and the Calm.

James went home with the award for British Male Solo Artist and gave us the all feels in his adorable acceptance speech.

He was also up for three awards at this year’s Grammys, and while he didn’t take one home, his performance with fellow Best New Artist nominee Tori Kelly is definitely one people are still talking about.

The 25-year-old blues-rock singer performed all over Europe for almost 10 years before being discovered by a Republic Records exec. And if you still don’t feel as invested as we are in this adorable singer, we caught up with James last summer at Osheaga to talk about his debut album and his amazing sense of style.

This Brit is definitely one to keep an eye on and will even be performing in Toronto this summer with fellow Brit George Ezra! We can’t wait to hear what James has in store next!
