The Late Late Show With James Corden went primetime last night with a special episode airing at 10 p.m. and a brand new Carpool Karaoke. Singer, dancer, actress, age-evader Jennifer Lopez made her Carpool Karaoke debut and succeeded in making Corden and the rest of us fall even more in love with her.
The pair performed a handful of J Lo’s biggest hits, including Booty, My Love Don’t Cost A Thing, Jenny From The Block, and On The Floor, as well as Bruno Mars’ Locked Out of Heaven.
James Corden continued earning his title of ‘Barbara Walters of the carpool lane’ with the duo’s karaoke jam sessions laced with intermittent segments of some of J Lo’s most revealing interview moments. The singer admitted that while she’s been married three times, she’s been proposed to five times. We’re guessing the fourth proposal was former fiancé Ben Affleck, but what about number five? Did Diddy pop the question at one time? Or maybe her longtime boyfriend Casper Smart?
Lopez also squashed the rumour that she has insured her butt, although we do still wonder what kind of deductible would come with a multi-million dollar booty insurance policy.
While not insuring a body party isn’t very celeb-like, Lopez’s incredible contact list more than made up for it. Demi Lovato, Iggy Azalea, Dwayne Johnson, and Leonardo DiCaprio were just some of the names in the American Idol judges’ cell phone, with DiCaprio even getting a text from an understandably giddy Corden. Guys, he texted back. DiCaprio is a great texter! Just when we thought he couldn’t get anymore perfect…
