Justin Bieber Outdid The Beatles And Drake This Week

Justin Bieber can add “Billboard record breaker” to his list of 2015 accomplishments.

After an huge week of promotion following the release his fourth studio album Purpose, Bieber has shattered the record for most titles placed on the chart in a single week. The record was previously held by fellow Canadian, Drake and the Beatles.

JB had 17 songs chart this week, The Beatles held the record with 14 songs in April of 1964 and Drake matched the record in both March and October of this year.

The 17 songs that charted this week are as follows, including 13 debuts from the deluxe edition of Purpose.

No. 19, “I’ll Show You”
No. 31, “The Feeling” featuring Halsey

The Beatles held the record for most songs on the Hot 100 chart for over 50 years, The week before, they held the entire top five, a record that has yet to be broken or even matched.

Twice this year, Drake had 14 songs on the Hot 100, following the releases of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What A Time To Be Alive, his collaborative album with Future.
