Nick Jonas Parties To Excess In Video For ‘Champagne Problems’

nick-jonas-champagne-problems

When it comes to releasing hot music videos that match his impressive singles off the deeply personal 2016 album Last Year Was Complicated, Nick Jonas shows no signs of slowing down. The pop singer has previously enjoyed the professional high from his personal lows, thanks to successful singles like “Close” and “Chainsaw,” and with his new single “Champagne Problems,” Nick is again letting his heartbreak do the talking. And the dancing.

In “Champagne Problems,” Jonas hits a club full of ladies and neon lights, surrounded by long legs and high heels while sitting on the dance floor and taking more than a few shots of champagne. The upbeat track from Jonas’ third studio album sounds like a carefree club-banger at first, but a closer listen to the lyrics reveals a song about heartache and a broken relationship.

The new video marks Jonas’ sixth from Last Year Was Complicated, having already dropped videos for “Close,” “Bacon,” “Under You,” “Chainsaw,” and most recently, “Voodoo.” Jonas captured both the making of and release of Last Year Was Complicated in a YouTube documentary, which includes footage of the singer’s groundbreaking 2016 iHeartRadio MMVA performance back in June when he made history by being the first artist to perform in the crowd.

Nick recently wrapped his Future Now Tour with close friend Demi Lovato and is now shooting the Jumanji remake in Hawaii with Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black.

In addition to today’s new music video, you can also watch Nick starring in Kingdom, with episodes airing Monday at 10E/7 on Much. Catch up with episodes online now at Much.com.
