Nick Jonas is being honoured this year for his incredible achievements in entertainment. At only 23, Jonas has already enjoyed a successful, TV, film, Broadway and pop music career thanks to his time with brothers Nick and Kevin in their group The Jonas Brothers, as well as Jonas’ recent solo career.
Now the multi-talented singer is being honoured with the Hal David Starlight Award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The award celebrates Jonas’ achievements in music, television and theatre. JoBro fanatics will likely remember that the youngest member of the trio got his start at age 7 on Broadway, performing in Annie Get Your Gun, Beauty and the Beast and Les Miserables. His on-screen roles have begun expanding in the past few years since his time on Disney’s Camp Rock, with Jonas recently starring in Scream Queens and winning critical acclaim for his acting on the MMA series Kingdom.
Jonas will be joining an incredible list of past winners, including Taylor Swift, Drake, John Legend, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, and Jason Mraz. Nick will be presented with the award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 47th Annual Induction and Awards in New York on June 9.
Don’t miss performances from Nick Jonas, Alessica Cara, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and more at the 2016 iHeartMusic MMVAs on Sunday, June 19.
