Today, Comedy Central announced that the quick-witted internet-focused game show @midnight has been picked up for a third season. The show will return for a 40-week run, which means 160 more episodes and bajillions of points for host Chris Hardwick to give out! “Comedy Central has been an amazing and supportive partner for @midnight and I cannot thank them enough,” Hardwick says. “Making inappropriate jokes about Internet culture with my comedian friends is something I would do for the rest of my life if they’d let me. And this pick-up gives us the runway to tackle next year’s election, which I’m guessing will yield no shortage of social media gems.”
Comedy Central also announced that they will be extending their hit animated series South Park for another three seasons, taking them to over 300 episodes through 2019. In the U.S., South Park Studios has also extended a deal with Hulu to stream all episodes on the streaming site. But fear not, Canadians: last week, CraveTV announced that their streaming service will include every episode of South Park, too! So subscribe now to watch 18 seasons and more than 250 episodes on CraveTV now! We dare you to marathon the entire show.
