Drake’s probably really happy that Taylor Swift wiped out on a treadmill last week. Not because he enjoys seeing Swizzie hurt herself, but because it was his banger Jumpman playing the background. As a result of the now-viral video, sales of the track have shot up 431 per cent.
Swift shared the commercial for Apple Music last Friday on social media and has garnered 20 million views and her tweet of the video has over 66 000 retweets.
The video shows Swizzy getting ready to work out. She puts on a #GYMFLOW playlist and raps along to Drake and Future’s Jumpman from their collaborative effort What A Time To Be Alive.
Inspired by “true events”, Swifty raps along with the track, getting really into the song right before completely face planting.
Despite only being a minute long, the ad has been extremely effective, catapulting the curated #GYMFLOW playlist to No. 5. Next time we want to market something, we’ll probably ask Taylor to fall off other gym equipment to promote it.
