Watch The Lonely Island Perform ‘I’m On A Boat’ With Classroom Instruments

The Lonely Island Classroom Instruments

To promote their upcoming film Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone hit the classroom in sailor suits along with Fallon and The Roots to perform with kazoos, rubber duckies, and of course, flippy floppies. Taking the classroom theme a step further, Jorma Taccone mean mugged throughout the performance while wearing a dunce cap and reading “The Joy Of Land.” We don’t know what’s more impressive – Taccone keeping a straight face or the number of creative phrases used to replace ALL the swearing in “I’m On A Boat.”

Samberg later changed out of his sailor uniform to talk to Jimmy Fallon about the trio’s new movie, including recording 28 new tracks for the film.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping hits theatres on June 17.

Watch The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday to Friday at 11:30E on CTV Two and catch repeats weekdays at 4E/1P on Much.
