The 2016 Juno Award nominations were announced this morning and in addition to the list of this year’s nominees, we also found out who will be joining performer Alessia Cara on stage on Sunday, April 3.

Returning for a second year in a row, The Weeknd will perform from the Saddledome Stadium in Calgary on April 3. The R&B singer had one of the biggest songs of 2015 with his hit Can’t Feel My Face off his 2015 album Beauty Behind The Madness, which also featured the singles Often, The Hills, and his latest hit, In The Night.

Fellow Toronto-native Shawn Mendes will also return his second Juno performance in two years. Mendes is coming off an impressive 2015, which included the release of his albums Handwritten and Handwritten Revisited. The Canadian teen spent most of the year on the road with Taylor Swift as the opening act for her 1989 Tour, which acted as great training for Mendes’ upcoming world tour, kicking off in March.

In addition to The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes, country artist Dean Brody and internationally renowned singer Bryan Adams will also perform at the Juno Awards. The four men join previously announced performer Alessia Cara.
