Magic Mike is not a movie for kids. In fact, you’ll probably want to leave your children with a babysitter when you hit up the theater on July 1 to watch the highly-anticipated sequel, Magic Mike XXL. That didn’t stop The Tonight Show from asking kids to write scripts based on the movie title Magic Mike, though. Last night, when star Channing Tatum stopped by the show, he and host Jimmy Fallon decided to act out these totally PG scripts in a segment called Kid Theater.
In these scenes written by elementary school kids, you won’t find Tatum’s character stripping down or even dancing. Instead, Magic Mike is a fictional character who has magical powers and can fix flat tires and protects the Earth from aliens. We think these kids have a future in the writers’ room.
