Bieber Fever: The Top 5 JB Pop Mashups

The Biebs has been making headlines all week, from his new lilac locks to his song that was leaked then deleted yesterday. His musical collaboration with Skrillex and Diplo’s Jack Ü is even up for a Grammy for Best Dance Recording. It’s safe to say that Justin Bieber is a hot commodity right now.

But what’s better than one talented recording artist? The answer to that is two talented recording artists!

We scoured the web to find the best musical mashups featuring a Justin Bieber song and other popular pop tracks. Here’s our list of the top five Bieber mashups:

5. Justin Bieber x Taylor Swift – I Knew You Love Me

This mashup is the product of mixing Taylor Swift’s I Knew You Were Trouble with Justin Bieber’s As Long As You Love Me. Unexpectedly, this combo works out well. Both songs were released in 2012 and both songs charted at number one on Billboard at some point. Two winners definitely makes one big mega-winner of a song!

4. Justin Bieber x Ariana Grande – Focus x Sorry

This mashup is made with some newer songs by Bieber and Grande (unlike the previous mashup, that one was a 2012 throwback). The majority of this remixed version is Sorry‘s instrumentals with Focus‘s vocal parts. Focus x Sorry sounds like it could be Ariana’s original song because the vocals fit so well with the background music. It’s way too perfect and gives us goosebumps as a result!

3. Justin Bieber x The Chainsmokers ft. ROZES – Roses/Love Yourself

Like the prior mashup, this one by Justin Bieber and The Chainsmokers sounds like it could be the original version if we didn’t know better. The original Roses had vocals by ROZES, but her role in the song is completely omitted with this remix and replaced by Bieber. Regardless, this mashup sounds upbeat and puts a smile on our faces.

2. Justin Bieber x Selena Gomez – Same Old Sorry

Even though Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are no longer together, we could pretend they are with this mashup! The messages between these songs put together works because Gomez seems upset about a relationship in Same Old Lovewhile Bieber’s song is about apologizing. Is it wishful thinking to hope they’ll get back together?

1. Justin Bieber/Jack Ü x Zendaya – Replay Ü Now

This mashup is our favourite! We think Zendaya and Justin Bieber should collaborate for real, not just in a fan-made mashup. Technically, this remix is a product of Zendaya, Bieber, AND Skrillex and Diplo, since they’re the duo behind Jack Ü. Great team effort. Replay and Where Are Ü Now mesh better than peanut butter and jelly.
