Actor Ryan Gosling is known for many things. His starring role on the teen series Breaker High. His starring role in all of our fantasies for the last two decades. His penchant for dramatic roles. His constant comparison to the other super successful, super attractive Canadian Ryan (why can’t we just have two smoking hot Canukyans and call it a day?).
One thing Gosling has not spent a lot of time becoming known for is comedies and that’s why we’re excited to see him and in his new film The Nice Guys with actor Russell Crowe. The two play an odd couple of private eye and guy in the wrong place at the wrong time, teaming up to investigate the death a porn star in the 1970s. In 2016, they’re teaming up to promote the film in a hilarious couples therapy sketch.
With The Big Bang Theory’s Melissa Rauch as their therapist, Gosling and Crowe try to work through their issues, which include speaking over one another, not expressing themselves, and an overall lack of commitment to composting.
One of Crowe’s biggest issues with his costar is the large amount of Gosling merchandise infiltrating their therapy sessions. There’s the Gosling chair, Gosling colouring book, the Gosling human size pillow, and just about everything else we got for Christmas last year. Many of us have known that these items have existed for some time, but we now have physical confirmation that Ryan Gosling is aware of them as well. Hey girl, that’s a sweet Etsy collection.
