For the third time in the past two years, Hunger Games season has arrived. This means movie premieres, press, interviews, and of course, the movie we’ve been *dying* to see since the credits started rolling on the last film in the Hunger Games franchise.
What are the best parts of Hunger Games season? Let’s count them down in anticipation of next Friday’s big premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
1. Hilarious Interviews
Promoting Mockingjay Part 1 means it’s all hands on deck to promote the film, which is great for fans who get moments like this.
2. The Men
3. The Women
4. The Fashion
The fashion!!! Oh, the fashion. Oohing and ahhing over the red carpet fashion of J Law, Elizabeth Banks and Jena Malone has been amazing. But now…now there’s fashion queen Julianne Moore. We bow down.
5. The Gifs
Jennifer Lawrence is a one-woman Gif machine. Put her together with a cast of people she loves and it’s like Christmas on the internet. Emma Stone would be proud.
6. The Amazing Fan Art
The fan art and posters at Hunger Games premieres is so on point that Elizabeth Banks can’t keep a straight face in her couture.
7. The Music
Each Hunger Games soundtrack seems to outdo the previous and that’s definitely the case with what we’ve heard so far of the upcoming Lorde-curated Mockingjay Part 1 playlist.
8. The Gossip
Questions about Josh Hutcherson’s girlfriend? Want to know what Liam Hemsworth thinks of Kim Kardashian’s nekkid butt? What about Jennifer Lawrence’s status with Chris Martin? There’s a good chance these topics are going to come up, plus a lot of other stuff PR people are going to instruct interviewers to not ask about.
9. The Newbies
With every installment in the Hunger Games series comes a new crop of impressive actors to add to the roster. This time around a few names being added to the end credits include Natalie Dormer, Julianne Moore, Elden Henson, and Evan Ross. While many of the new names are recognizable, others represent our future favourite actors we haven’t discovered yet.
10. The Spoilers
Yes, I know the Hungers Games is based on a trilogy of books, so how can there be spoilers for the film, right? Wrong! Time is money and not everything from the books can fit into the big screen. What will make it? What won’t? Real or fake?
