This December we’re ushering out 2015 in a new way. Join us as we count down 31 Days Of Awesome and give you something new to do, see, make, eat, or buy every day in December.
It’s Boxing Day and the holidays are officially winding down, and if you’re like us, being at the mall today is probably the last thing you want to do. Here’s a guide of what to do today that doesn’t involve parking, malls, crowds or fighting off aggressive shoppers for a discounted wide-screen TV.
1. Sleep In
Late night’s going hard in the eggnog equates to a 1 p.m. Boxing Day wake up time.
2. Eat Leftovers
Cake for breakfast? Yes please.
3. Watch a TV Marathon
Days off = vegging out in front of the TV. Peep our list here for a guide on the best shows, marathons and movies to watch right now.
4. Shop Online
Most sales in stores are matched (or are better) online. Take advantage of free shipping and shop from the comfort of your own bed.
5. Use Your Christmas Gifts
Set up your new phone or take your PS4 for a spin.
6. Go To The Movies
Oscar season is right around the corner so all the best flicks are hitting the screen soon. Avoid mall crowds by going to see all the potential big winners showing this weekend: The Revenant, Joy, The Hateful Eight, Concussion and The Big Short. And of course Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
7. Clean Your Room
It’s probably messy. Do it now while you have the time off.
8. Hang Out With Friends You Haven’t Seen In A While
Everyone should be home for the holidays, so hit up friends and make dinner plans.
9. Enjoy The Mild Weather
Go on a nature walk while it’s still a balmy 5 degrees. Because winter is coming.
