Put down the tissues. Stop crying. Everything will be okay. We repeat: EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY. We know your world has been rocked by the news of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s divorce, but just remember that we’ve gotten over our fave celeb couple breakups in the past. Remember Amy Poehler and Will Arnett? Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow? Heck, just a few weeks ago, we were wrecks over the news of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. OH WHO ARE WE KIDDING, LOVE IS DEAD. DEAD DEAD DEAD.
*Takes a breather*
Okay, fine, love is not dead. But you’ve gotta admit that every time you see a celeb couple we love break up, you can’t help but feel affected in some way. After 13 years of marriage, Gwen and Gavin have announced that they’re calling it quits, adding in a statement: “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment.”
While the couple has requested privacy in this tough time, we too must find a way to deal with this crushing news. So what better way than to revisit some of Gwen’s most heartbreaking songs.
