Selena Gomez feat. A$AP Rocky – Good For You
In her latest collab, Selena Gomez teams up with rapper A$AP Rocky for a sexy new song called Good For You. The slow number, highlighted by a snapping beat, is probably the most sensual thing Gomez has ever done; a true marker of something more mature than her usual flirty pop anthems. We’re super into this. A teaser has been released for the song’s music video so expect to see the full version out soon!
Simple Plan – Saturday
Canada’s pop-punk sweethearts Simple Plan are back with the ultimate weekend anthem. Saturday is a sing-along stadium stomper waiting to happen, with a fun chorus where you shout “S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y!” Will it be this year’s B-A-N-A-N-A-S?
Shawn Mendes – Believe
If you enjoyed Shawn Mendes’ MMVA performance, you should add his latest song to your playlist ASAP. Believe is the first song from the upcoming Disney Original Movie, Descendants, and it’s a cheerful and uplifting tune that’ll have us whistling for days. Re-watch Mendes’ wonderful performance at the 2015 MMVAs now!
Janet Jackson – No Sleep
The queen is back: Janet Jackson has released the first single off of her new album, which will be her first in seven years. The single is called No Sleeep (yep, with an extra ‘e’) and it was produced by her longtime producers and friends Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. In a tweet, Jackson wrote: “I dedicate this to My Love.”
Years & Years – Foundation
Back in January, we predicted that British band Years & Years would be a big deal in 2015. Well, we’re halfway through the year and it appears that the band’s star still continues to rise higher and higher. Their song King is a definite contender for the coveted ‘Song of the Summer’ and now, they’ve released another new track, Foundation, from their highly-anticipated new album, Communion. Unlike the other songs we’ve heard from Years & Years, Foundation is a slow, simmering track — almost an interlude of sorts — that totally reminds us of The Weeknd and, well, you know how much we love The Weeknd.
Tove Lo – Timebomb
Swedish singer-songwriter extraordinaire Tove Lo released a new music video for her explosive single Timebomb yesterday and we’ve already found ourselves hitting repeat several times on the clip. The beautiful beach-side video is an endearing clip featuring couples clashing and embracing and, by the end, Lo is stripped naked in the sand.
Tori Kelly – Should’ve Been Us
Hot off her amazing MMVA performance, Tori Kelly has released a dynamic new music video for her song, Should’ve Been Us. The video, often times shot with a fish-eye-like lens, follows Kelly through graffiti-covered alleys, empty warehouses and even onstage with thousands of her adoring fans.
