A Break Down Of Demi Lovato’s Action-Packed ‘Confident’ By The Numbers

Confident M3

Demi Lovato has defied the childhood stardom odds. Getting her big break alongside fellow future pop princess Selena Gomez on Barney The Purple Dinosaur, Lovato went on to star in the Camp Rock film series and Disney’s Sonny With A Chance tv show.

After hitting a rough few years dealing with substance abuse and struggling with an eating disorder and bipolar depression, Lovatics feared that Demi may become another child star who couldn’t make the transition to adulthood in the spotlight.

Thankfully, Lovato not only continued her career into her twenties healthier and happier than ever, she also used her platform to help others who have faced similar trials.

With Lovato’s fifth studio album Confident only one week away from release, the singer has launched her highly anticipated action-packed music video for the title track, reminding fans that making it through the darkest days takes having confidence in yourself. In the case of Lovato’s new video, confidence can also mean having a lot of fun as a kick ass character.

Directed by Robert Rodriguez (Desperado, Machete, Spy Kids) and starring Michelle Rodriguez and Jeff Fahey, Lovato plays an assassin who is released from jail under the condition she arrest a fellow agent. A double crossing leads to well choreographed fight sequences, with Lovato pulling off some impressive stunts.
