The nominations for the 2016 Academy Awards were announced yesterday and followed closely in the footsteps of the Golden Globes.
Unfortunately, some of this year’s most exciting films and performances we hoped would get some love were left out in the dust. Still, lots of great films and actors were recognized and it’s time to get to the theatre and see as many films as possible (Oscar-nominated and otherwise).
The 2016 Academy Awards, hosted by Chris Rock, air on Sunday, February 28, which means you have a little over a month to see as many films as possible. Or, maybe you’ve already done your Oscar homework!
