A heartfelt letter written by Adele suggests that we could be getting new music from her very soon.
Last month, Rumor Had It that Adele’s hotly anticipated follow-up to 21 could drop as soon as this November.
Her letter confirms that the album will be named 25 and she apologizes for the extended hiatus between records: “25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realizing,” Adele, now 27, wrote. “And I’m sorry it took so long but, you know, life happened.”
Her monumental album, 21, the top-seller in bother 2011 and 2012, was breaking records even three years after its release.
“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one, I would call it a make-up record,” Adele wrote. “Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did.”
