Amy Poehler and Tina Fey Take On A Galaxy Far Away In ‘Sisters: The Farce Awakens’

The Farce Awakens Main

What do you do when your hilarious comedy about two sisters throwing one last party in their childhood home opens the same weekend as Star-freaking-Wars? You jump right on that bandwagon.

At least, that’s what Sisters stars Amy Poehler and Tiny Fey are doing. The two Brits (?) along with their co-stars Ike Barinholtz and Maya Rudolph are going to the dark side with a new look at their film Sisters, out later this month.

In the clip below, Ike reminisces about growing up with Maya Rudolph lunch boxes, while the SNL alum gets into character for the role of Chewbaca-ish.

The funny featurette also includes a very special cameo by an actor that was not in Star Wars, but something pretty close. Yeah, we said it. Pretty. Close. Let the fandom rage commence!

Sisters and Star Wars: The Force Awakens both hit theatres on Friday, December 18 and don’t forget – you can see them both. This isn’t some N*SYNC versus Backstreet Boys turf battle. We can all like Stormtroopers and jokes about John Cena being huge.
