Santigold’s 2015 album 99 cents is about the commercialism and marketability of all aspects of everyday life, so it’s only fitting that the video for her new single Can’t Get Enough Of Myself focuses on society’s obsession with themselves.
Blink and you’ll miss cameos from Olivia Wilde, Jay Z, Andy Samberg, Pharrell and more, Santigold makes her way through a typical day in New York while displaying how narcissistic we have all become thanks to social media. Santigold walks her dog, shops for clothes, and finally ends up in a diner where she becomes all of the patrons and waitresses, seeing herself in everything from coffee cups to pieces of toast.
The new video also features a cool interactive feature where fans can upload their own photo and place themselves within the video. Because let’s be honest, we all want to see ourselves in a music video. Isn’t that the point of Can’t Get Enough Of Myself?
