Arcade Fire Preview Concert Film With New Clips Of ‘Rebellion (Lies)’ And ‘The Suburbs’

Arcade Fire have shared new footage from their upcoming DVD The Reflektor Tapes / Live at Earls Court, making us even more excited for the band’s year ahead.

The new clips feature performances of their songs “Rebellion (Lies)” from their debut album Funeral and “The Suburbs”the title track off their Grammy award-winning third album.

The two-disc DVD about the Canadian band will be released January 27 and is directed by Kahlil Joseph, who’s previously worked with Kendrick Lamar, FKA Twigs and Beyoncé on her acclaimed Lemonade visuals. Check out the new footage and the previously released video for Reflektor below.

Announcement of this film is the latest news that leads us to think Arcade Fire are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated follow up to 2013’s Reflektor. Last summer, frontman Will Butler hinted in a Reddit AMA that the album could be ready this spring, and last week, the band released a new politically-charged track, “I Give You Power” to coincide with the presidential inauguration.
