The wait is finally over for new music from Ariana Grande. The Problem singer has been teasing her new single Focus for the past 40 days on social media, including sharing pictures from the Focus video set. Promising to debut the video early this morning, Grande surprised fans and dropped Focus an hour ahead of its scheduled release.
Focus has Grande teaming up with her Bang Bang and Love Me Harder video director Hannah Lux Davis for the third time. Bleaching her trademark long brown hair, Grande looks the part of a ’70s Bond girl, complete with a rolling circular tube reminiscent of the opening sequence of the 007 films.
Grande dances, poses, spins, and even splits her way through the four backdrops on the monochromatic video, also giving the camera lots of face time with her doe eyes and sultry stares. Performing in sky high Louboutin heels, Grande delivers her best dance performance to date, keeping up with her backing chorus and their matching costume changes.
The new video has already received over one million tweets and some big name fans, including fellow child star-turned-popstar Demi Lovato.

Focus will be the first single off Grande’s upcoming third studio album Moonlight, which is due out next year.
