Sony Pictures’ 2019 continuation slash reboot of Charlie’s Angels is officially live with a fresh trailer released just today, and it features not one trio of badass women but two.
Yes, we’re here for Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska, and Naomi Scott kicking ass and taking names, but we are absolutely geared up to hear our three favourite pop princesses—Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, and Lana Del Rey—in the film’s theme song, which can be heard in snippets in the background of the film’s new trailer.
Elizabeth Banks, who directed, co-wrote, produced, and co-stars in the new Charlie’s Angels said she was “thrilled that three of [her] favourite artists ended up doing a song for the film,” and that they were definitely “inspired by ‘Independent Women’ and Destiny’s Child with the last set of movies.” Don’t worry girls (and guys!), the new Angels have definitely not forgotten their roots.
Both Cyrus and Grande took to social media yesterday to tease the project before the trailer’s arrival today, with Cyrus tagging Grande and Del Rey on Twitter and Instagram and Grande posting to her Instagram account.

Grande is also an executive producer of the film’s soundtrack, so sit tight Arianators—the film is coming to cinemas this November 15.
