Ariana Grande And Stevie Wonder Get Animated In ‘Faith’ Video

Ariana Grande is one of the greatest vocalists on the pop charts today, with a range and talent that puts her up there with the best singers of all time. Like, say, Stevie Wonder.

Grande and Wonder teamed up recently for the new animated musical Sing, which stars Reese Witherspoon, Tori Kelly, Matthew McConaughey, Seth McFarlane, Scarlett Johansson and more in a family friendly film about a group of animals that enter a singing reality competition.

The two singers released the original song “Faith” earlier this month and now have a new video to go along with the gospel-themed inspirational track. The video opens with a blonde Ariana Grande skipping down the street in denim overalls and floral platforms, dancing with some of the animated characters from Sing. Grande eventually arrives at a theatre where she joins musical legend Stevie Wonder. The two finish their duet at the piano as more of the film’s characters join them on stage.

The soundtrack for Sing, which is available now, also features Grande’s Hairspray co-star Jennifer Hudson, who got her start on real-life singing competition American Idol.

To celebrate Sing hitting theatres today, the cast of the film joined Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, and Paul McCartney for a cover of McCartney’s hit holiday tune “Christmas Wonderland.” McCartney appeared in his human form for the video, a missed opportunity to animate the legendary musician as an actual beetle.

Check out the infectiously catchy “Faith” below and just *try* not to fall in love with the characters from Sing.
