Arkells And Sarah McLachlan Added To JUNO Awards Line Up

The 2017 JUNO Awards have received more talented additions to their already stacked line up.

Just announced today, rockers Arkells and Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Sarah McLachlan will be performing at the 2017 JUNO Awards live from The Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on Sunday, April 2.

Four-time JUNO Award winners Arkells will be performing for the second time at the JUNO Awards, having previously played the 2015 JUNOs in their hometown of Hamilton, ON. The rockers are up for two awards this year, including Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year for the 2016 album Morning Report.

Fans of the band may want to head to their Twitter page to voice their suggestions on what song Arkells should play during the 2017 JUNO Awards.

To say that international superstar Sarah McLachlan is also no stranger to the JUNO Awards would be an understatement. The singer has received 29 nominations and taken home 10 JUNO Awards over her incredible career, earning another nomination this year for Adult Contemporary Album. This year’s JUNO Awards will also feature McLachlan’s induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Arkells and Sarah McLachlan join an impressive line up of previously announced performers, including A Tribe Called Red, Alessia Cara, Ruth B, The Strumbellas, and Shawn Mendes.

Watch the 2017 JUNO Awards on Sunday, April 2 starting at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and CTV GO. Tickets to the award show, taking place at The Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, are available here through Ticketmaster.
