Aurora Shares Her Good Vibes With The Much Studio

Norwegian singer Aurora released her debut album All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend in 2016 and captivated audiences with her hauntingly beautiful voice. Although she’s busy working on her follow up to All My Demons, she recently took time out to visit the Much studios for a session of Good Vibes Only.

What’s Aurora’s favourite song? Body part? Outfit? Who does she look up to the most? We got personal with the optimistic artist, who both sings and speaks like a breath of fresh air. Aurora definitely practices good vibes.

A talented songwriter, Aurora first began gaining an audience with her 2015 extended EP Running With the Wolves.

Quickly gaining popularity outside of her home country, the 20-year-old singer has become almost as famous for her breathtaking covers as she has for her original tracks. In 2015, Aurora covered Oasis’ “Half the World Away” for U.K. retailer John Lewis’ annual Christmas advertisement.

Next Aurora took on David Bowie’s “Life On Mars” shortly after the singer’s 2016 death, covering the song for Season 5 of HBO’s Girls. Aurora returned to the Girls soundtrack again this year for the series’ final season, with her track “I Went Too Far” featured in the season trailer.

Splitting her time between originals and covers, Aurora most recently covered the Nat King Cole track “Nature Boy” for the upcoming film Alien: Covenant.
