Whether you’re still in school or heading to campus for the first time, the first week of August signals one month until class is back in session.
While the last month of summer break should be spent soaking up days at the beach and home-cooked meals, it’s also the prime time to start preparing for life at school—which, for many, means life on your own. Flying solo. Adulting.
Although it sounds a little daunting, have no fear! Living on your own is actually kind of a blast, once you get the hang of simple things like cooking, cleaning, decorating, time management and—most importantly—copping that spotless internet connection for your new place.
To aid in the smooth transition, Much Creators/expert adults Tasha Leelyn and Deejdesign have assembled their own tips on “how to adult,” which include awesome hacks to all of the above essentials.
Check out Tasha and Deej’s video tips below—and get ready to adult like a boss.
