Bebe Rexha’s ‘You Can’t Stop the Girl’ Video Will Make You Feel Invincible

Bebe Rexha has released a triumphant new music video for her single “You Can’t Stop The Girl.” The powerful tune was created for the Disney sequel film Maleficient: Mistress Of Evil, which hits theatres this Friday.

Directed by Sophie Muller, the video flips between scenes from the movie and clips of the pop singer running through the roads of L.A. As she runs, Rexha is joined by an empowering group of women following her lead. The slow music and instrumental tune perfectly complement the inspiring message of the song’s lyrics, “You can’t stop the girl from going / You can’t stop the world from knowing.”

The video screams girl power, but also serves as a universal message for all individuals. Rexha took to social media to express her feelings, writing “You are capable of anything and everything,” and posting a thank you to all those who supported her in the making of it on her Twitter and Instagram.

If you can’t get enough of Rexha’s unstoppable attitude, you can catch her with the Jonas Brothers on their Happiness Begins Tour, stopping in Toronto on November 26 and Montreal on November 27.
