Go Where The Wild Things Are In Brave Shores’ New Video For ‘Surf’s Up’

While it might be strange to think about surfing in the middle of a Canadian winter, Toronto-based girl/guy duo Brave Shores have got us dreaming of hazy beach seasides with their latest single, Surf’s Up.

In their new grainy, old-timey video, Toronto’s own Brave Shores, made up of siblings Jay and Stefanie McCarrol, are accompanied by a whole zoo of animated critters while they perform Surf’s Up by the lake. A little mouse gets their attention and leads them to more of his musically inclined furry friends. Together they watch the sunset, share a smoke and have whimsical visions of glittery, colourful animals floating through space.

The brand new video was shot back in May with the gorgeous backdrop of the Scarborough Bluffs. Then it took five months of post-production to finish the 2D animation.

Surf’s Up is the the third official video from the duo’s first self-titled EP. Watch the video below and get their EP on iTunes here.
