As we continue to inch closer to the Season 4 premiere of Broad City and the return of on-screen and IRL besties Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, more news about the upcoming season is coming to light.
When the series returns, we will find the two women still trying to sort out their professional lives, which for Abbi has grown increasingly messier thanks to her newfound friends-with-benefits relationship with her boss Trey. As for Ilana, we’re excited to watch her try out new careers and see all the ways she can completely disregard dress codes while still being completely endearing.
For fans of Broad City heading to San Diego’s Comic Con this weekend, not only will they be rushing to get tickets to the panel discussion featuring Jacobson and Glazer, but all those attending will also get to check out an incredible life-size coloring book inspired by Broad City.
Broad City artist Mike Perry along with Comedy Central has created a life-sized activation exhibit, featuring illustrations inspired by the comedy series. Attendees will get to help colour in the interactive display, which covers the floors and walls of the exhibit. For all of those attending Comic Con with a badge, they will also be able to check out the Broad City manicure bar, temporary tattoo station and swag area.
As for Jacobson and Glazer, the women appear on this month’s issue of Nylon Mag, where they reveal what viewers can expect from the upcoming season, which was filmed following the US election. “Who knows how much we’ll give a shit later about the other things we do,” says Glazer.” “Down the line, maybe we’ll just be making garbage for as much money as possible. But the fact that we have this level of precise passion right now, this time of giving this much of a shit, is very much its own high.”
“It’s a release to come out with Season 4 and say, ‘I love this product we’ve made and I’m so happy to put it out in the world” “Who knows how much we’ll give a shit later about the other things we do.
