When he’s not on the road promoting his latest stand up special Comedy Camisado or playing Lincoln, the lovable dentist with an affinity for pasta and Ilana on Broad City, comedian Hannibal Buress likes to live the rock star life.
During last year’s SXSW festival, Buress played drums for band Speedy Ortiz during their set, although he didn’t actually know how to play drums. He performed with indie rockers for one song and then we assume told the pickle juice joke, which is what we would ask for in exchange.
This year, Buress stepped up his musical game in Austin, Texas and performed alongside Open Mike Eagle on his track Doug Stamper (Advice Song). We have to admit; Buress can flow.
