Bruno Mars To Release New Single ’24K Magic’ This Friday

Good things come to those who wait, and for fans of Bruno Mars, the wait is finally over. The talented hit-maker announced on Twitter this morning that his new single “24K Magic” will drop this Friday.

In addition to the single announcement, Mars wrote that his new album, the first since 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox, is also done, but no further information as far as album title or release date was given. He did clarify that “24K Magic” is not only his new single, but ‘an invitation to the party.’ Consider our RSVP ‘YASSSSSSS.’

It’s been four years since Mars’ last studio album, which arrived only two years after his 2010 breakthrough solo debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans.

While we haven’t had a Bruno Mars album in a minute, the singer has kept busy, writing with Adele on her album 25, performing at the 2014 and 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Shows, and releasing a little song with Mark Ronson called “Uptown Funk.” You may have heard of it.

After so much time in between albums it started to feel like a new record from Mars would never arrive. But as the singer tweeted today, he’s been masterminding the return this whole time.

Friday can’t come soon enough. Until then, we’ll be over here waiting for Bruno Mars Day like…
