Celebrating Solange’s Chicest Dance Moves On Her 29th Birthday

We’re taking time to celebrate Beyoncé’s younger sister Solange Knowles because today is her 29th birthday! Solange has been making a name for herself beyond being “Beyoncé’s little sister” as she is becoming an influential fashionista and musician in her own way.

Solange has had an exciting and interesting couple of years from marrying longtime sweetheart, Alan Ferguson, in November 2014, to a viral video leaking of her altercation with brother-in-law Jay-Z, and slaaaaaying various red carpet events in between it all.

Big sister Beyoncé celebrated her sister’s birthday by going down memory lane by posting old photos of them as kids.

🎈🎈Happy Birthday to my sis!🎈🎈I love you deep. 💃🏽💕

But since we don’t have #TBT pics of Solange to post, we’ve decided to celebrate by taking a look at some of her chicest dance moves. We dare you to learn these advanced moves.

1. “Flick Of The Neck” (Disclaimer: Don’t go too hard on this one)

2. “I’m Beyoncé’s little what?” – The game changer.

3. “How It All Went Down In the Elevator” – It speaks for itself.

4. “The Creeper” – Ladies, this is the perfect move for the dance floor.

5. The “ 1, 2, 3 and 4 and…” – Watch out, Beyoncé, she’s coming close with that leg work.

6. “The New Age Sprinkler” – Out with the old, in with the new.

To see more of these dance moves, watch the music video for both singles off her debut EP, True, released in November 2012.
