Check Out The Biggest Trends From The Oscars Red Carpet

Biggest Trends

The red carpet at the Academy Awards are known for setting the trends in fashion for the next year and tonight’s showing did not disappoint. From red hot gowns to bright pops of colour, see what were the biggest trends on the 88th Academy Awards red carpet.

The red carpet was white hot thanks to actresses Olivia Wilde, Isla Fisher, Priyanka Chopra, and Best Supporting Actress nominee Rooney Mara. We loved Lady Gaga’s pant and skirt combo, which had her looking like the superhero she is.

The classic black gown was going strong on tonight’s red carpet thanks to Jennifer Garner, Julianne Moore and Mindy Kaling, who also incorporated another one of tonight’s biggest colours with navy sleeves.

The Navy was docked in LA tonight, with Sofia Vergara, Naomi Watts, Patricia Arquette and Best Actress nominee Brie Larson looking beautiful in blue.

Emerald and purple were two of the fiercest shades on the red carpet, with nominees Saorsie Ronan and Rachel McAdams rocking the beautiful green tone, while Tina Fey and Reese Witherspoon looked pretty in purple.
