On Friday, it was announced that this year’s Bestival would feature Tame Impala and The Cure as their headliners. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the annual music fest, which this year is taking place June 11 and 12, has now dropped its full line up only one hour before tickets go on sale.
Joining the headliners will be a laundry list of some of today’s most exciting indie artists. Canadian critical darling Grimes, English DJ and EDM musician Jamie XX, and Toronto duo Thugli, as well as Odesza, Porter Robinson, Madeon, Tchami, Dubfire, Thomas Jack, Daughter, Maya Jane Coles, The Wombats, and Toronto’s Jonathan Rosa are just a few of the more than 33 artists announced today.
The two-day event will also feature a Bollywood Temple, Costume Party and Parade, the Bestival Inflatable Church, circus troupes, a Day of the Dead cocktail bus, marching bands and more.
In addition to Friday’s headliner announcement, the UK-imported festival also announced that it will be moving venues to Woodbine Park in Toronto.
