Remember Craig David’s 2000 hit Fill Me In? Maybe it came out a bit before your time or maybe it was one of the first songs you ever downloaded in high school. Either way, it’s a track that has stood the test of time and still delivers as a sexy pop smash.
Judging by David’s social media pages, which should come with a warning for getting lost in those eyes, the soulful singer is releasing new material in 2016. What happens when artists prepare to release their first album in five years? Promo tour!
In the case of Craig David, that means crashing a BBC Radio 1 show and starting an impromptu dance party in the recording booth.
David showed up at BBC Radio 1 this month and performed Fill Me In, mashing it up with one of the biggest songs of the year, dropping some impressive rap skills, beat boxing, and still looking just as cute as he did over a decade ago.
Just TRY not dancing to Fill Me In. We dare you!
This is what I live for. Thank you BBC Radio 1Xtra MistaJam KuruptFM and all the crew who came through. https://youtu.be/uPdPpetOSJ8 #SixtyMinutesLive
