Back in April, Taylor Swift debuted her workout playlist in an Apple Music ad that featured the famous pop star running on the treadmill to Drake and Future’s “Jumpman.” At least, she ran for part of it. The ad had the same ending as about 13 per cent of all YouTube videos.
Swift was recently spotted at Drake’s 30th birthday party, with Drizzy posting a picture of the rumoured new couple together. Sources are claiming the two have been working on a surprising collaboration, with no details on when we may hear new music from the two or whose album the song would appear on.
Before Drake and Taylor make things music-official, Drake is already showing his love for Swift by lip synching her music in his new ad for Apple Music.
The new ad debuted at the American Music Awards last night, where Drake won four of the 13 AMAs he was nominated for, including Favourite Rap/Hip Hop Album for Views and Favourite Rap/Hip Hop song for “Hotline Bling.”
Before throwing to Drake’s new Apple Music Ad, co-host Jay Pharoah showed off his own interpretation of Swift’s famous treadmill scene, complete with a blonde wig and a body double.
The ad opens with Drake working out to his new track “Sneakin’” with 21 Savage from Drake’s upcoming mixtape More Life. When his trainer leaves the room, Drake indulges himself, dancing and singing along to Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood.” It really is a catchy track.
