Elton John To Work With The Killers On Upcoming Album

Sir Elton John just released his 32nd studio album Wonderful Crazy Night last Friday and the international artist has no plans on slowing down. He already has his next project lined up—he’ll be working with The Killers on their upcoming album!

In an interview with Shazam, Elton John confirmed the rumored collab between him and the band that was hinted at last year.

Sir Elton hasn’t released released new music in 10 years, but is very much interested in and involved with younger artists.

“It gives me energy,” he said. “I want to hear new things, I know all the old things. Why would I want to keep listening to the old things all the time? I want new.”

He also shouts out lesser-known acts he enjoys including Grimes, (again), James Blake and Christine And the Queens.

“Those artists have something really important to say, but don’t have many avenues of getting it exposed,” he said. “If I can help expose it, I will do my utmost to do that.”

He talked about his experience collaborating with Kanye West on All Of The Lights for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in 2010. Check out the full interview below!
