Fifth Harmony Drop Sexiest Video Yet With ‘He Like That’

Fifth Harmony may have no intention of changing their name and that’s just fine. Less than a year after the departure of Camila Cabello, the remaining members have cemented themselves as a group worth watching in their second life as a fierce foursome.

During Sunday night’s MTV VMAs, Fifth Harmony were brought to tears after winning Best Pop Video for “Down” featuring Gucci Mane, the group’s first post-Cabello single. Following their huge win, Fifth Harmony said a final goodbye to Cabello by opening their performance with a fifth member of the group flying off the back of the stage.

Not only did the group solidify their status as Fifth Harmony 2.0 with Sunday’s memorable performance, they also dropped their third single and video with “He Like That.”

Following the catchy but predictable lead single “Down,” Fifth Harmony showed they were ready to strike out with a new sound and their own writing credits with “Angel,” the second track off the group’s upcoming self-titled third studio album. Now with the release of “He Like That,” Fifth Harmony are once again proving their ready to take their music in a new direction that includes but is not limited to the earworm chart toppers of previous discs.

Releasing their sexiest video yet, the group bare almost all in “He Like That,” wearing pasties and bras while surrounded by sweaty men in what looks like an ode to Britney Spears’ iconic “Slave 4 U” video. Pairing off for dance break downs, the group comes together in two scenes, including one group performance in the middle of desolate club. Playing with the male and female gaze, the women offer a little something for all viewers, just maybe not the youngest members of the Harmonizers fan club.

While Fifth Harmony have never been shy about turning up the sexy factor in the videos, previous efforts in visuals for “Work From Home” and “All In My Head (Flex)” often came off like young girls trying on their older sister’s outfits. In “He Like That,” Fifth Harmony look like women who know what they want, and what they want is to rule the charts. If they inspire a few fantasies along the way, all the better.

Fifth Harmony’s self-titled third studio album dropped August 25 and we like that.
