It looks like Fifth Harmony are making good on their promise to continue as a band in wake of Camila Cabello’s exit.
The now foursome debuted their first official image as a quartet on Thursday, titling the image “Twenty Seventeen,” which, judging by their propensity for numerical album titles, could possibly mean more than simply stating the year.

Following Cabello’s departure on December 19, the girl group released a statement on social media saying they plan to continue making music as a group and as solo artists. Billboard has now confirmed that Fifth Harmony’s label Epic Records has exercised their option on Fifth Harmony, meaning a third studio album will be in the band’s future. Slay, ladies.
The group has yet to announce any concrete plans or dates for new music, but we’re already excited to hear what the reformed group will sound like. Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei dropped a stunning mash up of Solange’s “Don’t Touch My Hair/Cranes In The Sky” yesterday and has us hoping for some ballads on the upcoming third studio album.
As for Cabello, the singer has been posting shots from her vacation in Cancun, Mexico. She is expected to drop her first official solo single this Spring.
