Jamaican singer OMI is set to make his debut at the 2015 MMVAs on Sunday, June 21 at 9E/6P! Set to get the party started early, OMI will be performing on the 2015 MMVA red carpet. The good times don’t stop there! OMI will also be presenting during the live show, which features performances from Nick Jonas, Tori Kelly, co-host Ed Sheeran and many more!
OMI’s break-out track Cheerleader has been tearing up the charts in Canada, the US and Europe and is on its way to being one of the biggest songs of the summer!
In addition to OMI, actress Hailee Steinfeld has just been added to the incredible presenter lineup for the 2015 MMVAs! Steinfeld began her acting career at 8 years old and was nominated for an Academy Award at 14 for her dramatic role in True Grit. She’s gone on to co-star in 2013’s Romeo and Juliet and act opposite Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo in Begin Again.
This year, Steinfeld joined the Barden Bellas and showed off her musical skills in Pitch Perfect 2 and most recently starred in friend Taylor Swift’s video for Bad Blood.
The 2015 MMVAs will also feature can’t-be-missed performances from Carly Rae Jepsen, Fall Out Boy, Jason Derulo, Mia Martina, Nick Jonas, Scott Helman, Shawn Mendes, Tori Kelly, The Weeknd, Walk Off The Earth and co-host Ed Sheeran.
